POSITION SUMMARY

The Oracle SOA/Applications Developer will be responsible for supporting existing and implementing new functionality and developments in Oracle eBusiness Applications, Fusion Middleware environments. Responsible for problem escalation to Oracle Development team and hosting partners as appropriate. Research system impacts for new proposed solutions. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining and developing SOA Composites using Oracle 11G/12C SOA Middleware, EDI Mappings in ANSI X12/EDIFACT with Oracle SOA Middleware. This individual will be involved with all aspects of the Oracle Applications suite, proficient in writing stored procedures, Packages and functions using SQL & PL/SQL, customizing Reports, XML Publisher and writing Unix Shell scripts.

PRINCIPAL TASKS
1. Responsible for Oracle Development in an Oracle Applications environment in terms of design and development of Oracle based custom applications, interfaces, reports, Oracle Application Framework (OAF), Custom.pll, Forms Personalization, PL/SQL packages/procedures based programming for custom applications, developing SOA Composites using Oracle 11G/12C SOA Middleware, EDI Mappings in ANSI X12/EDIFACT with Oracle SOA Middleware and data conversions. Also desired is experience with Oracle Workflow Builder and developing new workflow and/or modifying existing workflows in either an Oracle Application or pure Oracle Technology environment. You are also responsible for adhering to our company standards on any customizations. Develop technical design and documentation of Oracle Applications dependent data conversions, interfaces, custom reporting, and custom applications.
2. Provide daily support with issues arising related with EDI for both Internal and External customers. Enter/Respond/Track progress on Zendesk Tickets logged by end users and provides timely response and resolution. You are also responsible for providing support to any customer applications which integrates with Oracle EBS. Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level. Works with functional groups to test and verify new and updated requirements of EDI business partners. Perform unit testing for business scenarios after the development is done.
3. Create RFC (Request for Change) in the Helpdesk system and follow our regular norms. Please follow SLAs based on the nature of the issues.
4. Reporting support for system (Oracle Reports, Real Time Reporting) and custom requirements. Analyze issues related to Oracle reports including custom objects. Recommend/design changes to the development team and provide support to the team if required. Perform testing and helping UAT on any code changes within Oracle suite. Provide application data using SQL to support ad-hoc requests for application information. Assist system analysts, DBAs in promoting technical changes to production environment. Also responsible for any other special projects as assigned by Management.
5. Ability to design and implement integration components between enterprise systems. Design and provide hands-on development of cloud based and enterprise integrations, leveraging API frameworks. Translate business processes and requirements into technical integration requirements and designs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

WORK EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years experience in an Oracle E-Business Suite environment in a Solid Technical role on RICE Components with expertise in Design, development, executions, experience in writing Unix Shell scripts and production support. Experience developing SOA Composites using Oracle 11G/12C SOA Middleware, developing EDI X12 Mappings using cloud solutions such as Dell Boomi, Jitter Bit and etc. Well versed with development best practices. Ability to grasp complex issues and pay attention to details. Proven flexibility and adaptability in effectively driving results in an environment of changing priorities. Demonstrate comfort in working across the business and their respective business units maintaining positive relationships with professionals at all levels of the organization.

ACADEMIC/TRAINING: A Bachelors Degree in Information Technology from an accredited college and understanding of and experience in the distribution industry is a plus. Experience with the full lifecycle of application development

SKILLS: Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), as well as Oracle, ERP (EBS R12.2.8 and above), SQL, PL/SQL, SQL*Loader, EBS APIs, Workflow, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Business Events, Web ADI, OAF, XML Publisher. & other Oracle technologies. Must be detailed oriented and self-motivated, excellent customer service skills, and extremely organized and able to handle multiple projects at one time.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to stand, sit, move, and use fingers for extended periods of time. May require walking primarily on a level surface, reaching above shoulder heights and below the waist, as well as lifting up to 25 pounds.
