Mobile Applications Developer, Sr. jobs in Tallahassee, FL

ASSYST is seeking a qualified Web Applications Developer for our State client in Tallahassee, Florida. 

Location: Tallahassee, FL (Onsite role)
Type: Long term Contract (C2C/Corp to Corp or 1099)

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the creation of robust system designs, leveraging state-of-the-art requirements gathering, analysis, and design methodologies.
• Conduct daily analysis and development activities to implement system enhancements, additions, and bug fixes, ensuring seamless functionality.
• Develop and modify application code and database structures, adhering rigorously to industry-leading development practices and processes.
• Promptly address daily work tickets assigned by the department, encompassing code modifications and enhancements.
• Investigate and resolve system issues and bugs identified by the MQA group and Applications Management team, resolving daily work tickets efficiently.
• Document all application modifications and additions meticulously as coding tasks on a daily basis, maintaining a comprehensive record in a designated document repository.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in developing applications using Node.js.
• A minimum of five years of practical experience in developing applications with Python Flask.
• A minimum of five years of demonstrable proficiency in developing applications using React.
• Three years of direct involvement with agile development methodologies, with a focus on the SCRUM framework.
• Three years of experience in developing applications on leading Cloud platforms such as IBM, Microsoft Azure, or equivalent.
