Job Summary:
Performs general clerical and/or accounting duties, assisting the CFO/Director of Business in the accurate and timely management of the accounting and/or clerical functions for Wyoming Child and Family Development, Inc.

ALL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION WILL MEET THE HEAD START PROGRAM PERFORMANCE STANDARDS, DFS LICENSING, NAEYC STANDARDS, WYOMING DIVISION OF DISABILITIES RULES AND REGULATIONS, AND WCFD POLICIES AND PROCEDURES. ALL EMPLOYEES WILL ADHERE TO THE MISSION, VISION, AND VALUES OF WCFD, INCLUDING PROGRAM GUIDANCE CONTAINED IN THE MASTER MANUAL.
Perform general accounting duties as assigned, which may include:
Answering the phone and door as needed.
Assists with filing, record keeping and reporting tasks as needed.
Retrieving, processing, and tracks incoming and outgoing mail.
Compiling monthly reports for board/policy council.
Documenting, approving, purchasing needed supplies and materials.
Preparing purchase orders and filing and receiving approved supply requests.
Ensuring that expenses are documented, reasonable, allowable for the pertinent funding source, and allocated per the cost allocation plan.
Entering invoice information into the accounting system for all approved expenses.
Serves as backup for other employees/departments which may include:
Other related duties as assigned by the Board or its designee.
Processing travel & training requests and coordinating travel arrangements.
Managing and tracking inventory for all programs.
Assists in the management of the financial software (Accufund) and provides training and assistance to other staff.
Recruits children for the program within the guidelines established by Department of Health and Human Services and Wyoming Child and Family Development

Must have an employment physical and TB risk assessment prior to working with children.
Must have AHA CPR and First Aid Training completed within 90 days, unless otherwise specified by the supervisor.

Must have a valid driver’s license, safe driving record and liability insurance as required by Wyoming State Law. Driving records are reviewed annually.
Wyoming Child and Family Development requires an initial statement of health from a licensed healthcare provider and a health status annual assessment.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Computer experience/knowledge required.
Must be able to organize and follow to completion projects and tasks assigned by Fiscal Operations Assistant, Administrative Staff, and Business Manager/Fiscal Officer.
Must be able to work with families and children birth through age 5.
Must be able to communicate effectively with staff, children, families, and community.
Must possess proper stress management techniques.
Must be able to work in a flexible daily routine and change as required.
