SCHEDULE

Model Development and Implementation:

• Lead the development and implementation of BancWare models for various financial products and risk management purposes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that models align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Model Validation and Testing:

• Conduct rigorous validation and testing of BancWare models to ensure accuracy, reliability, and robustness.
• Implement and maintain testing frameworks to assess model performance under various scenarios.

Documentation and Compliance:

• Create comprehensive documentation for BancWare models, outlining methodologies, assumptions, and validation results.
• Ensure that all models comply with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.

Model Monitoring and Maintenance:

• Establish and maintain a robust model monitoring system to track the performance of BancWare models over time.
• Proactively identify and address any issues related to model performance, recalibrating models as needed.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with stakeholders, including risk management, finance, data and IT teams, to gather requirements and feedback for continuous improvement of BancWare models.
• Communicate model-related insights and findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
• Keep abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices in risk modeling and financial analytics.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

Experience

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in financial services financial modeling with knowledge in model development and validation.
• Extensive experience with SAS, SQL, Excel and/or related database and analytical and modeling software.
• Proven experience in developing, implementing, and validating BancWare models in a financial institution.
• Strong understanding of financial products, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in database management.
• Significant accounting and finance knowledge.

Education

• Four-year degree from an accredited institution in business, finance, econometrics, statistics, quantitative analysis or similar field.
• Master’s Degree preferred.

Advances skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and with internal bank systems (i.e., BancWare)
