Position Summary:
The ICU Technician is responsible for monitoring cardiac monitors, clerical duties and assisting the Registered Nurse in providing patient care and related activities that contribute to the function of the unit. The Specialty Technician functions under the direct and immediate supervision of a nurse.
Educational Requirements/ Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent, CPR Certification or ability to acquire, ability to perform assignments under pressure, high level of interpersonal communications skills, basic computer skills and advanced EKG rhythm interpretation skills or ability to require.
Salary Range:
$17.65-$27.36 per hour
