Your Opportunity

Cardno now Stantec is looking for a Native American Cultural Monitor and/or a Field Technician to support local contracts and Utility contracts throughout California.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Observe archaeological excavations or construction activity in areas that have been mutually agreed upon to be sensitive for archaeological and/or tribal cultural resources
• Take field notes, photographs and write monitoring logs and submit these to the Project Archaeologist.
• Conduct field surveys as part of an archaeological field crew

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Possess the desired knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience established by the Native American Heritage Commission’s Guidelines for Native American Monitors.
• Physical ability to work on a construction site in inclement weather for long hours is required
