Renfro Valley Entertainment Center in Mount Vernon, KY is looking for monitor and stage technicians to join our team. Our ideal candidate has a love of music, is a self-starter, punctual, and engaged. Candidate must be willing to work log hours on show days, and welcome a flexible schedule otherwise.

Responsibilities

*Applicant will be responsible for setting up stage for local and national acts, patching instruments into the p.a. system, and operating a monitor console. Applicant must be able to troubleshoot audio issues quickly and calmly while functioning under pressure in a fast paced environment. *Applicant must help artists with load in, stage and instrument setup, soundcheck, and after the show tear down and load out.

Qualifications

*Applicant must be familiar with multiple types of audio consoles including Digidesign SC48, Behringer X32, Midas M32, and Soundcraft expression. *Applicant must be familiar with all types of microphones and proper use and placement. *Applicant must have prior experience and be able to function autonomously and professionally. *Ability and availability to work long days. • Ability to multi-task and prioritize conflicting requests. • Strong time management skills with exceptional attention to detail. • Punctual – Early is on time. • Friendly, professional, positive, hospitable & courteous attitude. • Professional dress & appearance. • Level-headed, quick to take action and an on-the-spot problem solver. • Ability to craft professional emails and hold professional conversations. • Able to handle demanding personalities and diffuse sensitive situations. • Able to maintain professionalism at all times when working with artists.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Sundays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Compensation depends on your experience.
