Description

The Telemetry Monitor Technician provides accurate cardiac rhythm surveillance through continuous monitoring of adult telemetry patients.

Follows a standard procedure for rhythm observation and documentation which contributes to positive patient outcomes for cardiac monitored patients.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Listing as a CNA in North Carolina or previous monitor technician experience preferred.
• BLS required.
• Successful completion of an approved EKG / dysrhythmia course within the first 2 weeks of hire; must pass dysrhythmia test.
• Secretarial / clerical experience preferred with knowledge of medical terminology.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

Shift : 7p-7a, 36 hours a week with rotating weekends
