Being a Monitor Technician provides notes to medical staff in charge of the patient. Ensures that monitors are functioning properly. Additionally, Monitor Technician may require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Monitor Technician works under moderate supervision. Education:

High School Graduate. Graduate of an Emergency Medical Technician or Cardiovascular Technician program preferred. Scores at least 90% on pre-employment EKG identification competency test.

1 year Monitor Technician/ EMT/Paramedic/ Cardiovascular Technician (reading telemetry) experience
