Morgue Attendant receives bodies of deceased patients and helps place bodies in compartment trays. Confirms identification of bodies and releases bodies as appropriate. Being a Morgue Attendant may assist pathologist in performing autopsies. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally, Morgue Attendant typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Morgue Attendant works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Must be able to work evenings and weekends, on a flexible schedule.

Must be able to present a valid driver’s license and must be 18 years or older
