Responsibilities:

• Dry, fold and stack clean linen
• Feed the ironer in a safe manner as prescribed.
• Knowledge of all safety devices of ironer and proper shut off.
• Sort soiled linen and pre-spot heavy stains as designated by supervisor.
• Assist other laundry staff with maintaining a clean and safe laundry room.
• Report any malfunctioning equipment and follow safety protocols.
• Sweep, clean and dust equipment at the end of each day
• Answer the phone in a professional manner and respond when appropriate and report all messages to the supervisor.
• Assist lead laundry attendant in other duties or projects as assigned.

• Previous Laundry Attendant or related housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Developed English skills.
• Frequent bending, standing, and walking.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
