Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mortgage Closer to join our team. The Mortgage Closer plays a crucial role in the final stages of the mortgage process, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurate, compliant, and in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of mortgage lending procedures, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review loan documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with loan officers, processors, underwriters, and title companies to gather any missing information or documentation.
• Prepare closing documents in accordance with lender and investor guidelines.
• Conduct a final review of all closing documents to verify accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate closing appointments with borrowers, title companies, and other relevant parties.
• Ensure timely and efficient funding of loans by coordinating with funding departments.
• Provide support and guidance to borrowers throughout the closing process, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all loan transactions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a mortgage closer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage lending regulations, including TRID, RESPA, and HMDA.
• Proficiency in mortgage loan origination software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• NMLS licensure preferred.

Pay: $43,353.63 - $65,000.00 per year
