- Working directly with the inventory department and buying office to ensure that all incoming orders are received in-store accurately and as expected.
- Tracking and reporting of any discrepancies, errors, or damages as soon as they are realized.
- Closely following company policy regarding any product movement out of the store through transfers or vendor returns.
- Conduct replenishment of the floor routinely and as needed to keep the floor stocked.
- Conduct routine cycle counts per the direction of the Home Office Inventory Manager.
- Regular tag audits to avoid confusion at checkout and keep inventory levels accurate.
- Maintain back stock rooms within company protocols to ensure the store runs smoothly.
- Constant communication with other in-store employees to educate and assist as questions arise.
- Overall ownership of inventory processes and procedures with the help of the Store Manager and Home
- Office Inventory Manager.
- Create detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations, and stock levels.
