Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

Department: Housekeeping

Reports To: Housekeeping Manager

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Summary: The Housekeeping Supervisor assists the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel's guest rooms and public areas. They support the housekeeping team in meeting hotel standards and ensure efficient operations. The Housekeeping Supervisor must demonstrate leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent guest service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the Housekeeping Manager in supervising housekeeping staff and monitoring their performance.  Ensure that all assigned tasks are completed efficiently and to the required standards.
• Provide training and guidance to housekeeping staff as needed.
• Conduct inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
• Address any issues or concerns raised by guests or staff regarding housekeeping services.
• Assist in scheduling housekeeping shifts and assigning tasks.
• Order and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Assist in the development and implementation of housekeeping procedures and policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 years of experience in a housekeeping or supervisory role
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping operations and procedures

Shifts/hours: (Need to be flexible as this is not a set schedule)

• Varied shifts based on operational needs
