Opportunity

The Collections Support Specialist is responsible for performing credit and collections tasks and special projects. The Collections Support Specialist will perform a wide variety of administrative, organizational, and communicative tasks. The Collections Support Specialist shall work under the direct supervision of the Director – Corporate Credit. The Collections Support Specialist will be trained to follow appropriate collection techniques, how to create and run reports and the correct follow-up for delinquent accounts.

Specific Responsibilities

• Support Credit Managers, Analysts and Collectors in areas of customer contact for POD requests, trade and bank references, financial statement requests, ACH requests and other areas as needed.
• Function as GetPaid administrator. Setup new collector accounts, update unassigned customers, update customer contact information, and other GetPaid administrative functions as needed.
• Support Credit Managers, Analysts and Collectors with SAP updates as needed Customer address, contact email, billing email, payment terms, credit limits, credit rep groups, etc.
• Send checks received at the office to correct lockbox and notify customers of correct mailing address. Add notes to GetPaid regarding payments received.
• Manage collections on a small portfolio of accounts: Contact customers for payment, work to resolve open chargeback items, timely respond to customer information requests.
• Solid understanding of business needs, including an understanding of appropriate procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
