Responsibilities: - Perform phlebotomy procedures to collect blood samples from patients - Provide excellent patient service and ensure a comfortable and safe experience during blood collection - Utilize anatomy knowledge to locate and access veins for venipuncture - Follow clinical laboratory protocols and guidelines for proper blood sampling and specimen collection processing - Demonstrate proficiency in laboratory techniques and aseptic technique to maintain sample integrity - Maintain accurate records of patient information and test results Experience: - Previous experience as a phlebotomist or in a related healthcare field is preferred - Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and clinical laboratory procedures - Familiarity with blood sampling techniques, venipuncture, and specimen collection processing - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately - Excellent communication skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
