Gathers necessary credit, income, and tax information to conduct financial assessments. Being a Mortgage Credit Analyst reviews and verifies property appraisals, collateral value, and key indicators such as debt-to-income and loan-to-value ratios. Prepares a detailed credit analysis and summary using underwriting guidelines, risk assessment frameworks, and following applicable regulatory compliance. Additionally, Mortgage Credit Analyst may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Mortgage Credit Analyst work is closely managed. Salary Range: $50,000 - $62,000
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
The Credit Analyst is chiefly responsible for analyzing and evaluating financial information in undertaking the preparation of credit analyses for new loan requests or annual reviews. In addition, the Credit Analyst assists the Relationship Managers in completing the Managed by Delinquency (MBD) reviews. The Credit Analyst is also responsible for ensuring that all loan requests adhere to loan policy requirements. They work closely with the Relationship Managers and prepare the objective and independent credit analyses serves which as the basis for approval of all commercial credit relationships.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or a business related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
