Essential Job FunctionsPayroll:• Supervise, coordinate, and complete payroll processing operations to ensure accurate calculation of wages andprocessing of tax withholdings and company deductions.• Supervise direct reports within the Payroll Team and coordinate bi-weekly payroll cycle.• Track and implement wage and hour laws and regulations.• Review payrolls to ensure proper payroll calculation and compliance with wage and hour laws and state/federaltax regulations.• Work with the Controller to generate and import payroll entries and month-end accruals into the general ledger.• Work with Human Resources to ensure the timely import of new employees, terminated employees, and wagechanges into the payroll system.• Supervise or complete the timely disbursement of tax payments and garnishments and the preparation ofquarterly tax filings.• Liaison with management and staff regarding all pay inquiries.• Ensure prompt and accurate maintenance of all timekeeping and payroll records.
Minimum RequirementsCollege degree in business/accounting or related field with 5 years of payroll experience (or equivalent combination ofexperience and education). Prior experience supervising payroll employees and processes preferred.
