Role Overview

The Loan Boarding Supervisor is responsible for adding originated and acquired loan products to the loan servicing system, both manually and via electronic upload.

Essential Duties: In addition to related job duties as assigned, this position will:

• Ensures all loan document packages are complete and follows up with lending status
• Runs system reports and board new loans into the Servicing system.
• Communicate with Secondary team on the Investor statuses of loans.
• Keeps updated of new products and ensures proper coding when analyzing loans for upload to the Servicing system
• Supports incoming acquired loan servicing including coordination with the prior servicer, preparation of Mapping Tool spreadsheets for bulk boarding of acquired loan portfolios, uploading the Mapping Tool spreadsheet to pass loans to production, and the reconciliation of and application of funds to the acquired loans.
• Performs all tasks in support of outgoing transfers of servicing, including coordination with the successor servicer, the timely delivery of data files and electronic documents, wire transfer of funds, and bulk coding of transferred loans on the system.
• Monitors and maintains New Loan Boarding and Acquisitions/Conversions shared mailboxes.

Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge

• Strong writing and reading skills.

• Passionate, Self-motivated and driven, with keen attention to detail, action-and-results oriented.
• Exhibit a high level of individual initiative and ownership
• 2 years previous experience in a similar position, preferred.
• Mortgage Loan Servicing experience
• Experience in and understand of how loans are set up, the supporting workflow, etc.
• Experience reading, reviewing, and comprehending Mortgage related documentation.
• Required proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and mortgage software – MSP and Byte experience preferred.
• Previous experience in mortgage servicing, loan boarding, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in using mortgage servicing software and Microsoft Office applications preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail.
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information responsibly.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations such as RESPA, TILA, and CFPB guidelines, is an advantage.

Physical Requirements

• Stationary position; prolonged periods at a desk and working on the computer.
• Occasional movement about inside the office to walk to offices and office machinery.
• Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds, must be able to push, pull, pull up, bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head-neck-shoulders as needed, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands, for either extended periods of time or many times throughout the workday.
