As a Mortgage Underwriter you will be responsible for reviewing residential mortgage applications and documentation and render credit decisions that meet Suffolk's Loan Policy, investor guidelines and all applicable laws and regulations.

Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred, but will consider an Associate Degree. Three years of residential mortgage underwriting experience. Knowledge of Freddie Mac / Fannie Mae / FHLB underwriting guidelines. Experienced with HMDA rules and regulations. In-depth knowledge of the Encompass LOS. Experience in home equity/heloc underwriting a plus. Registry with NMLS required or must be obtained within 3 months of employment.
