Mortgage Development Manager manages a team of mortgage lending specialists in developing customer relationships, promoting mortgage loan products, and attaining volume and profit goals. Ensures that application processing follows state, federal, and organizational policies and guidelines and that customers have accurate loan information and guidance about product options. Being a Mortgage Development Manager conducts team training on company products and services. Coaches team members to promote a sales culture, improve selling techniques, and meet goals. Additionally, Mortgage Development Manager monitors trends and developments in the real estate markets and changes to private and government-insured mortgages. Maintains relationships with a network of realtors, attorneys, CPAs, and other contacts to obtain referrals and facilitate the lending process. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Mortgage Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Mortgage Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Summary

    The Office Manager supports and manages daily administration functions of the DCEDC business office and contributes to the collective efforts of the organization. Maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail are essential.

    The DCEDC Office Manager will be self-motivated, quality-driven, a quick learner, have communication skills and a positive attitude, and be able work independently and with team members.

    The position could be full-time or part-time hours depending on the needs of the candidate and the anticipated volume of work.

    Examples of Responsibilities

    • Direct phone calls and visitors.
    • Provide administrative support to DCEDC staff, making accommodations for meetings and events.
    • Coordinate with the Treasurer and staff regarding accounts payable/receivable processing and financial reports.
    • Maintain appropriate filing systems.
    • Manage multiple project bank accounts.
    • Manage office calendar, preparation of all board meeting materials.
    • Coordinate special events.

    Basic Requirements

    Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with staff, board members, stakeholders and partners.

    The ability to be detail oriented.

    The ability to take on new tasks and assignments.

    Maintain a high level of discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information.

    Expertise in applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Zoom, QuickBooks, and other software.

    Experience in managing website content management systems preferred.

    A college degree or the equivalent experience in the field of Business Administration, Marketing, Economic Development, or a related field is preferred.

    Valid driver’s license.
