As a Resident Care Manager, you will provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day activities performed by nursing assistants. Must evaluate and assess residents' needs, including physical and mental health, family and community resources, physical environment, and finances. A plan of care for residents will be developed by the RCM based on a close assessment of resident’s requirements. Arrangements need to be made to implement that plan. Once these arrangements are in place, the RCM can coordinate all services to ensure the resident's health, safety, and general well-being. Often, their needs to be continuous monitoring and periodic reevaluation to make changes as needed.

Position Requirements:

• Must possess a current RN license. The license must be in good standings.
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a supervisor in a healthcare setting. (2 years preferred)
  
• Must have training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
  
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
