Job Description: Account Manager (Loan Processor)

Location: Westport, CT Office (in House ONLY)

Lendmarq is a specialty real estate lender providing bridge and term loan products to residential real estate investors throughout the country. As a professional Account Manager (Loan Processor), your abilities to manage the loan process from lead to closing, use detailed workflows, and communicate with stakeholders are your keys to success.

Essential Responsibilities

·         Manage the real estate loan process from inception to closing using detailed workflows

·         Supervise all administrative roles for borrower and seller transactions from contract to close

·         Aid real estate agents, clientele, and other stakeholders’ requisite paperwork and ensure the completion of all closing documentation

·         Responsible for interfacing and communicating with stakeholders to ensure processing and underwriting tasks are being done timely and accurately

·         Coordinate timelines with borrower’s title companies, insurance agents to obtain necessary information

·         Understand loan documents, mortgage process and loan origination system to effectively manage workflows

·         Track all outstanding items with stakeholders to ensure timely receipt of necessary documentation

·         Maintain effective communication on loan status with partners

·         Assist leadership with the preparation and distribution loan level data

·         Identify and communicate risks and learn pitfalls to avoid when working through loan files

·         Maintain a high level of confidentiality and security while handling personal information; verbal and/or written documentation

·         Communicate clearly

Requirements

Experience and Training

·         Two-year college degree preferred

·         Two years of Loan Processing or loan industry experience required

·         Working knowledge of real estate lending

·         Proficient with MS Office including Excel and Word

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

·         Must be able to make good decisions and meet deadlines

·         Ability to write accurate reports and documents; holds self to a high level of quality

·         Must be self-motivated and enthusiastic to obtain personal and company goals

·         Ability to stay organized to easily retrieve information and documents as needed

·         Flexibility to adapt to peak periods of heavy workload and pressure
