Mortgage Loan Funding Clerk, Sr. performs routine administrative tasks in support of the mortgage loan funding group. Prepares and finalizes documents and helps customers with packaging and funding. Being a Mortgage Loan Funding Clerk, Sr. ensures accuracy in loan closing process. Facilitates training and support of lower level funding clerks. Additionally, Mortgage Loan Funding Clerk, Sr. requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Mortgage Loan Funding Clerk, Sr. works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Position purpose - Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
The purpose of this position is to assist the loan officer and processor with the work flow on each transaction, including chasing docs, following up with title and insurance companies, and providing status updates to realtors, builders, sellers, and borrowers.
Assists the processor with Loan Status Gram email/fax to all pertinent loan parties
