We are seeking a motivated, experienced & licensed MLO to work inside a real estate office focused on earning business with realtor partners. This requires a strategic approach and a commitment to building strong relationships.

Duties:

· Evaluate loan applications and determine the eligibility of borrowers

· Guide clients through the loan application process, ensuring all required documentation is obtained

· Analyze financial information, such as credit reports and income statements, to assess the risk associated with each loan application

· Collaborate with underwriters to review loan files and ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and TILA guidelines

· Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other industry professionals to generate referral business

· Educate clients on various loan products and assist them in selecting the most suitable option

· Negotiate loan terms and conditions with borrowers to ensure mutual satisfaction

· Prepare loan packages and submit them to the appropriate lending institutions for approval

· Monitor the progress of approved loans, ensuring all necessary conditions are met prior to closing

· Stay up to date on industry trends, market conditions, and changes in lending guidelines.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience as a Loan Officer or similar role in the financial services industry

· In-depth knowledge of loan products, including FNMA guidelines

· Strong understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and industry professionals

· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a financial sales role

· Proficient in basic math calculations and financial analysis

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
