Position: Mortgage Loan Originator

Location: Headquarters (132nd & Pacific St.)

Hours: Monday through Friday between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM, and Saturdays as needed

Essential Responsibilities:

• Promote and model the Centris Vision, Mission, Values and Team Principles.
• Provide unparalleled service to both internal and external members in accordance with the Centris Service Promises.
• Create and/or develop relationships with internal and external members, vendors and other parties.
• Initiate and develop relationships with existing and new members, builders, and industry related representatives to identify and close loan opportunities in alignment with the credit union goals and principles.
• Cultivate and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of current home mortgage procedures and products that Centris currently offers.
• Assist the credit union with managing pre-lending risk by ensuring all underwriting conditions are met.

Job Requirements:

• Must have a High School degree or GED equivalent.
• Must have two years progressive financial sales experience with 1 year of mortgage experience
• Must be able to effectively communicate with members, staff, vendors, financial institutions, and other business contacts.

Experience

• Must have two years progressive financial sales experience with 1 year of mortgage experience.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) or better
