The Mortgage Loan Servicing Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Duties and Responsibilities for the Residential Mortgage Loan Originator include:
Referral Based RMLO:
Establish relationships with Realtors and other centers of influence to attract business
Meet with customers, identify their needs and take residential loan applications
Provide all compliance disclosures required at time of application
Monitor the processing of customer’s loans through the closing process
Requirements for the Residential Mortgage Loan Originator:
1-3 years’ experience as a licensed Loan Officer
Active Texas Residential Mortgage Loan Officer License
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Calyx Point, email and web research
Able to work independently and possess excellent time management skills
