    Position is based at 200 Parkwood Street, Lowell, AR 72745 or 801 John Barrow Road, Little Rock, AR 72205.

    Position requires availability Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm with the ability to work additional hours as needed.

    SUMMARY: The Mortgage Servicing Lead will accept escalated mortgage issues and customer calls and provide problem resolution. The incumbent will provide associate training and guidance to associates on escalated issues, and assist with the day-to-day operations of the department. The incumbent will assist in meeting the department goals and with various projects as requested by management. The Mortgage Servicing Lead must be knowledgeable of mortgage products and services and provide customers, internally and externally, with exceptional customer service.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Serve as a resource for complex issues and questions. Assist associates with research and problem resolution and other servicing areas and/or banks regarding customer’s file; contacting customer as needed and working to resolve issues accurately and within timelines.
    • Assist management in meeting the workflow needs of the department, identifying staffing and training needs and in developing and monitoring goals and objectives for the department.
    • Accept escalated customer calls and provide problem resolution quickly and efficiently in order to maintain service level expectations. Explain policies and procedures in a courteous and patient manner.
    • Maintain a working knowledge of functional duties within the department; performing the duties as assigned.
    • Conduct monthly quality assurance call reviews for associates, as assigned.
    • Assist the supervisor/manager in training new associates and continually update the department training manuals.
    • Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes, but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
    • 2 years of banking, mortgage or financially regulated experience required.
    • 1 year of customer service required.
    • Current NMLS SAFE Act Registration or the ability to be registered within 30 days required.
    • Collections experience preferred.
    • Associates Degree preferred.
