Mortgage Loan Servicing Director manages and directs all aspects of mortgage loan servicing functions. Plans and directs policies, objectives, initiatives of department. Being a Mortgage Loan Servicing Director evaluates all loans to ensure compliance with policies and processes. Provides recommendations on any areas that need improvement. Additionally, Mortgage Loan Servicing Director coordinates and consults others on complex loans. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Mortgage Loan Servicing Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Mortgage Loan Servicing Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     Responsible for providing centralized loan servicing support to bank's branches, customers, loan operations and loan officers. Responsible for performing a variety of clerical functions and loan maintenance.
    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    Loan Servicing:
    • Prepares and completes Paid Note Statements including releases of titles and preparation of mortgage releases, which may include electronic recording as applicable.
    • Prepares payoff statements.
    • Automatic payment additions.
    • Fee and interest waives.
    • Provides exceptional customer service by phone or email to internal and external customers.
    • Utilizes available resources to identify, research and resolve routine customer issues.
    • Complete required training specific to job responsibility.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    • Completes required training specific to job responsibility.
    • Maintains loan files in a neat and orderly manner.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.
    General

    Qualifications
    Education/Experience:
    • High School Education or equivalent.
    • 1 years of clerical or banking experience.
    Skills:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
    • Detailed information must be handled in an accurate, timely and confidential manner.
    • Must be able to handle a significant workload of varying tasks.
    • High Level of interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with the team as well as internal and external customers.
    • Ability to gain a comprehensive understanding of internal policies and procedures as well as state and federal laws and regulations governing Loan Servicing functions to ensure compliance upon completion of individual job duties.
