GENERAL FUNCTIONS:

This position will be responsible for leading and managing the deliverables and teams for multiple strategic projects/solutions within the TruHome Solutions Mortgage Servicing Department. In addition, this position will coordinate and facilitate all activities within the TruHome Solutions Mortgage Servicing Department and work in conjunction with the business units, IT, Shared Services IS to ensure successful delivery of their projects or programs while adhering to compliance requirements and best practices.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Strong track record of leading successful projects from start to finish with ability to navigate through an organizational matrix.
• Ability to think strategically and tactically in regard to project planning, scoping, budgeting, and quality in terms of project administration, deliverables and working in conjunction with the business, IT and vendors.
• Ability to interact with multiple vendors and within an organizational matrix to correctly identify and capture project requirements and organize them into formal assessments and project planning documents.
• Ability to work within the TruHome Servicing Department while understanding and appreciating the processes/procedures and governance required to lead small to mid-range projects.
• Accountable for delivering results for multiple complex/cross-functional projects with different initiatives within established timeframes and quality measures, as well as direct resources on assigned projects while ensuring clarity of project roles and responsibilities.
• Ensures business needs and objectives are effectively captured in functional and non-functional business requirements for a system and/or process/workflow.
• Manage business requirements to meet expected business solutions and trace delivery of requirements through to testing and final delivery.
• Communicates project status to key stakeholders. Document and communicate meeting minutes and key decisions.
• Professional and friendly interaction with members and staff, providing first line problem determination/resolution.
• Observe the highest level of confidentiality when dealing with member accounts or personal information and credit union records.
• Promotes honest and open communication throughout TruHome Solutions.
• Demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with the TruHome Solutions values, philosophies, and leadership characteristics.
• Work with other TruHome departments to ensure the workflow or process is providing the best service to the members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Extensive knowledge and experience and formal training in project management methodology is required.
• Strong knowledge of tools such as MS Project, Microsoft Visio and MS office suite.
• Application of project process utilizing waterfall and agile methodology in an IT environment strongly desired. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage a project through from beginning to end whether internal and/or external resources are involved.
• Must have strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, emphasizing quality work and ability to interact with staff of varying levels throughout the organization.
• Must have strong problem-solving skills and be able to lead through developing solutions to problems as they arise. Six Sigma experience is a plus.
• Must exhibit strong people leadership and influence throughout the organization.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

In this position, individual will be expected to lift up to 20 pounds from time to time. Also, must be able to stoop, bend, reach or stand for extended periods of time. Requires the ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position is expected to work in general office environment and may have to travel for visits to other credit union facilities or for training purposes.

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree is required with a preference for Business, MIS, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or related concentration.
• Project management certification is a plus.
• At least 3 solid years as a project manager.
• Financial Services or Mortgage background is ideal but not required.
