Mortgage Operations Manager oversees all mortgage lending operations, including verifying property appraisals, marketing loan products, and loan processing. Manages resources to ensure quality mortgage loan service and efficient delivery of products and services to clients. Being a Mortgage Operations Manager monitors the productivity and budgetary performance of the operations department and develops new procedures to improve processes. Acts as a resource for knowledge on mortgage lending operations and trains and educates personnel on new or changing regulations or procedures. Additionally, Mortgage Operations Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Mortgage Operations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Mortgage Operations Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. We are seeking a self-motivated individual to support an established leader as a Business Development / Client Relationship Manager in the Morgantown, WV and Deep Creek Lake, MD area.     The Candidate will act as a liaison at our office in Deep Creek Lake / McHenry, Maryland to assist our sales team by acting as a point of contact for new Realtor and business partners as well as existing ones.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
    • Assist interaction between the Client and Loan Officers.
    • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
    • Conduct research to identify new opportunities.
    • Develop relationships with realtors and industry partners.
    • Promote the company’s service.
    • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
    • Nurture and develop long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
    • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
    • Develop opportunities in target markets with support of a great marketing team.
    • Attend face-to-face meetings with business partners and clients when needed.

    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

    • Ability to multi-task using strong organization and prioritization skills.
    • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
    • Ability to quickly learn the mortgage industry related to job duties.
    • Build and maintain positive relations with all team members and associates.
    • Time management and planning skills.
    • Flexibility in work hours to meet client’s needs.
    • Polished and professional telephone manner.

    Education & Experience

    • Minimum one (1) year mortgage experience preferred but not required.
    • Sales / Marketing experience with a strong sales track record preferred.
    • Associates/Bachelor’s degree, or relevant work experience.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills a must.
    • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance and be proactive.
    • Versed in Social Media channels.
    • Experience in customer support.
    • Market knowledge a plus.

    Salary starts at $30,000 base rate PLUS BONUS on production.

    Total comp package should be $45,000 in first year.
