Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group, recently voted #1 in the nation as the best large mortgage company to work for by National Mortgage News, is seeking a Final Documents Specialist I in Virginia Beach, VA to join our team!

What you’ll be doing

• Receiving, opening and appropriately identifying all incoming final document mail and matching with corresponding loan file.
• Reviewing document per Byte checklist.
• Entering received date and type of document received into Byte for each loan.
• Verifying if loan has been purchased by an investor.
• Printing bar code and cover sheets from Byte and AIQ for each document.
• Scanning documents into AIQ.
• Preparing and shipping all documents to investors.
• Filing documents on non-purchased loans (funded) following designated procedures.
• Maintaining a professional image and adhering to standards consistent with company policies and procedures.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring

• Prior related administrative experience preferred
• Ability to keep confidentiality and handle confidential information
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; including Word, Excel, Outlook
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Professionalism and strong communication skills (both in person and via phone/email)
• Ability to work with all levels and varying positions of the company
• Attention to detail and the ability to effectively perform complex tasks simultaneously
