Here’s what you can expect in the role as a Connect Lending Closer:
The Connect Lending Closer position exists to assemble, prepare, and verify closing documents.
Job Duties:

• Performs purely administrative tasks surrounding loan processing.
• Is not responsible for negotiating or advising credit terms with consumers.
• Coordinates all aspects of the closing process and ensures all terms of the sale are met.
• Prepares loan packages, keeps track of deposits, and coordinates the details of the final closing. Ensures all documents are properly recorded and delivered.
• Balances Closing Disclosures and prepares home only and real estate closing packages for all product types including Direct Repo, NOW Loans, Direct Loans, and repo finance.
• Monitors closing pipeline to ensure loans are closed based on regulatory and company’s requirements.
• Maintains a working knowledge of the lending process, and the ability to work under strict deadlines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to qualify:

• High School diploma or equivalent required, college a plus.
• At least 2 years of mortgage lending experience.
• Must submit to a credit check used only for Arizona licensing purposes.
• Must maintain excellent customer experience throughout the loan process for all customers.
• Strong communication skills with a high sense of urgency.
• Excellent organizational and data entry skills are a must.
• Knowledge of AS/400 and Link a plus.
• Knowledge of RESPA a plus.

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
• Will be constantly operating a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a telephone, calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
• Will be communicating 90% of the time over the phone. Must be able to exchange accurate information at all times.
• Must be able to identify and assess account status and determine appropriate process.
• Will constantly work in an indoor temperature controlled, sealed window office environment.
