We are a customer-centric company devoted to creating and maintaining long-lasting relationships.About the PositionThe Post Closing Coordinator will verify the accuracy of loan data which will include auditing closing packages to verify signatures, and dates, identify any missing documents, and coordinate appropriate procedural action. They will coordinate the procurement of missing documents and data corrections with Underwriters, Processors, Loan Officers, and/or Title Companies.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Essential Functions- Review closing packages for completeness and accuracy to meet investor guidelines
- Prepare complete cover letters required by each investor
- Ship loans to investors promptly to meet lock expiration dates within investor guidelines
- Scan loans documents weekly into the system
- Update record data on the status of loans
- Work closely with processors and closers to obtain any documentation required by investors to purchase loans
- Other duties as assigned
Competencies- Able to adhere to a work schedule including prompt and regular attendance
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, constantly changing work environment often on a tight schedule
- Excellent communication (verbal & written) and analytical thinking skills, customer service expertise
Education and Experience- Knowledge of closing practices, mortgage documentation, recording practices, and title/abstract legalities is a plus
- Able to work with a significant amount of detailed information in an accurate, timely, and confidential manner
- Prior experience with Encompass Loan Origination Software System is a plus, but not required
