- Job Title: Post Closing Analyst Location: CA - Westlake Village What you'll do: The Post Closing Analyst is responsible for monitoring the delivery of collateral documents and final documents in order to maintain accurate and sellable mortgage loan files that meet company and investor standards. Responsible to determine appropriate resolution plans to resolve outstanding issues that meet investor and company guidelines. Communicates and follow up as necessary with appropriate business parties to facilitate resolution of document exceptions/issues. Manages relationships with lenders, branches, custodians and warehouse banks to ensure all are working to resolve outstanding issues. What we are looking for: What you will do: Research and validate reported errors through systems and vendor and county websites Monitor daily and monthly reports Determine correct steps to resolve outstanding document issues that meet investor guidelines Work with internal teams to escalate outstanding issues as necessary and provide approval for exception resolution Communicate with sellers, investors and custodians to facilitate resolution of outstanding issues Locate and deliver final documents missing from the original closing package through county websites Monitor MERS registrations, transfers and reconciliations Perform other general post closing functions as needed What you will need: Knowledge of mortgage industry terms and concepts Knowledge of final documents such as final lender title policy, recorded security instruments Strong Excel skills Strong attention to details Ability to organize and coordinate multiple tasks Strong verbal and written communication abilities Excellent customer service skills Ability to adapt to change Work well under time constraints High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) Some college, administrative or business coursework Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $60,135.00 - $74,285.00 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
