Mortgage Underwriting Manager provides quality mortgage loans to customers. Reviews and develops all aspects of mortgage loan guidelines to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Being a Mortgage Underwriting Manager monitors processes and systems of mortgage loans and promotes the new line of businesses. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Mortgage Underwriting Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Mortgage Underwriting Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- Must hold State NMLS or obtain applicable State license within 60 days of employment or employment will be terminated
