    What You’ll Do

    The Retail Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all activities within the respective branch(es), including recruiting, hiring, training, management and development of branch personnel, to ensure branch profitability, compliance with DAS processes and regulatory guidelines, and customer satisfaction.


    Responsibilities

    • Oversee recruitment and management of branch staff.
    • Oversee compensation programs for branch personnel ensuring margins needed for branch profitability.
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of mortgage programs and guidelines as well as stay current with industry regulations.
    • Mortgage loan origination.

    Requirements

    • Four year business degree or equivalent required.
    • Minimum five years’ experience and/or training.
    • Knowledge of sales management, along with basic computer skills including Microsoft products, loan origination systems.
    • Mortgage banking industry, familiar with Conventional, FHA, and VA mortgage products. Clear understanding of the current RESPA laws and guidelines.
    • Teamwork and productivity skills. Must possess excellent problem solving and customer service skills. Management or Supervisor experience.
    • P/C computer skills with solid understanding of MS Office and the ability to use the loan origination system.
    • Administrative practices and procedures.
    • High level of business acumen to reduce risk and increase profitability.
    • Office environment; Daily computer usage requires close vision.
    • Regular Attendance is Required. Some travel may be required.
    • Extremely fast paced, high volume activities.
    • In order to succeed in this position high attention to organizational and team planning, adherence to guidelines amidst a fast-changing environment with ability to manage competing priorities.

    Compensation

    · Minimum Salary - $65,478.40 (Recoverable)

    · Commissions on personal production plus branch production override.
