Motorcycle Mechanic/Repairer repairs and maintains motorcycles. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Motorcycle Mechanic/Repairer may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Motorcycle Mechanic/Repairer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Duties:
- Perform routine service on a variety of motorcycles, dirtbike, and atvs
- Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and troubleshoot problems.
- Provide exceptional customer service when addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 1 year shop experience
- Must have basic tools. Specialty tools are provided to you
- Must have strong problem solving skills
- Must have a valid driver's license with motorcycle endorsement
The salary for this position is based on labor/flat rate and will be determined by experience level.
