MULTIMEDIA SERVICES MANAGER jobs in Baltimore, MD
MULTIMEDIA SERVICES MANAGER manages a staff of technical production specialists that contribute to and produce multi-platform communications including broadcast, web, social media, and print. Oversees and coordinates graphic design, copywriting, production, and printing processes. Being a MULTIMEDIA SERVICES MANAGER implements policies, procedures, and guidelines for producing media content. Familiar with software tools including the Adobe Creative Suite - Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Additionally, MULTIMEDIA SERVICES MANAGER requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The MULTIMEDIA SERVICES MANAGER manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a MULTIMEDIA SERVICES MANAGER typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. POSITION DESCRIPTION
Production Specialists are responsible for the creation of custom photo products for our customers. Specific job responsibilities may include one of more of the following :
- Machine operation (various types)
- Inspection & quality control
- Preparing products for packing & shipping
- Unloading supplies and delivering to the appropriate work station
- Create shipping labels
- Product assembly
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment desirable but not required.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and attention to detail.
- Experience and comfort working with Windows-based systems
- Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift 20 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Regular attendance is required.
- Adherence to Company policy and procedures is required
