We are searching for an in-house, motivated Bookkeeper who is an excellent multitasker with exceptional communication and time management skills. Bookkeeper can expect data entry, processing, and recording transactions, updating the ledger, assisting with audits or fact-checking, and preparing budgets and reports. You should be thorough and accurate with good bookkeeping skills.

To be a successful Bookkeeper, you should be reliable, have a strong command of Accounting principles and proficiency with computers and software, such as QuickBooks Online, Excel, Google Suite, etc. You must be trustworthy, efficient, and organized.

Bookkeeper Responsibilities:

• Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing the mail, etc.
• Handling communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person.
• Processing transactions, issuing checks, and updating ledgers, budgets, etc.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Recording financial transactions in the general ledger
• Performing account reconciliations
• Processing accounts payable and receivable
• Generating financial reports
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and other relevant tools to perform bookkeeping tasks efficiently and accurately
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review
• Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries

Bookkeeper Requirements:

• Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software, strong typing skills
• Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles
• Professional manner and a strong ethical code
• Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive
• Commitment to working efficiently and accurately
• Proven experience working in bookkeeping or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices
• This is a Contractor - 1099 Position

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
