Overview

Ascend's Multimedia Producer produces all photography, videography, and animation for Ascend's marketing department. This is a full-time, exempt position requiring you to work independently and on-site for production requests. In this role, you are responsible for planning, capturing, and executing video content, photoshoots, headshots, photo editing, refreshing stock images, overseeing a content library, managing an archive library, aiding with design and animation. Additional assignments may include Search Engine Optimization (SEO) efforts and Content Management System (CMS) updates to improve SEO. The ideal candidate is meticulous about their work, proactive, values feedback, and enjoys presenting a complete, polished project within deadline.

Responsibilities

• Scope and produce photo and video content for marketing campaigns and internal partners
• Develop animations in After Effects to support marketing campaigns and internal partners
• Facilitate photoshoots to photograph various products and services for the credit union
• Manage multiple evolving projects and quickly adjust shifting priorities as they change
• Maintain and troubleshoot Canon photography and Panasonic videography equipment
• Coordinate and conduct annual headshots for the senior executive leadership team
• Responsible for sourcing and licensing music or stock video, managing agreements
• Attend and photograph all internal and external events for the credit union
• Manage the organizational system for Ascend's creative content library
• Track and analyze website analytics, keyword research, and backlinks
• Optimize landing pages and perform keyword discovery and expansion
• Actively participate in formal and informal training opportunities
• Actively engage in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
• At all times, present the Ascend brand in a positive manner
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications

Bachelor'sDegree in marketing, communications or related field required

5-8 years photography, videography, and full video production experience required5-8 years experience with on/off camera flash for headshots or event photography required5-8 years experience with 3-point lighting for interviews and other video scenarios required5-8 years post-production using Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Lightroom required 3-5 years experience reporting SEO (Semrush) or website analytics (GA4) preferred3-5 years experience with Canon and/or Panasonic Mirrorless equipment preferred1-3 years experience using Asana for project management and reporting preferred1-3 years experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams preferred
