1. Conceptualize, design, and produce innovative print and digital materials encompassing student recruitment campaigns, program marketing materials, special event promotions, etc.
2. Create high-volume print and digital materials such as advertisements, billboards, web and video graphics, interactive presentations, brochures, mailers, digital flipbooks, static and animated digital ads, logos, booklets, programs, posters, and signage. Prepare files for output as needed for print, web and/or video.
3. Create graphics and images for social media and email communications that align with current messaging.
4. Protect brand equity through design choices that meet college needs and objectives. Work closely with the Director of Marketing to own and maintain the college design standards.
5. Actively contribute at department and division meetings to collaboratively plan, create, and implement effective integrated marketing and communications for the college. Participate in creative brainstorming to develop concept ideas. Provide direction on project timelines and production schedules.
6. Manage the workflow and timely completion of all graphic design tasks and projects utilizing departmental project management software, Supervises the graphic design staff, including the Coordinator of Graphic Design and two to three student workers.
7. Lead in the recruitment, hiring and onboarding of student graphic design workers. Provide mentoring to ensure students are well trained in ICC brand standards and design objectives. Review student work and provide weekly feedback to improve performance.
8. Assist with marketing photoshoots – prepare shot list, art direction and final photo selection, as needed.
9. Research and keep current on industry trends and technology advancements.
10. Complete assigned jobs prior to deadline. Follow the department project management process for approvals.
11. Work with outside vendors and suppliers, as requested.
12. Perform related duties as required.

2. 1-3 years of experience specifically in graphic design and preparing materials for print and digital output.
3. Extensive experience in Adobe Acrobat and the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with template design experience in Word and PowerPoint.
5. Superior conceptual skills and a high-level sense of design, layout, color management and typography.
6. Demonstrated experience as a broad thinker who can offer a variety of design solutions.
7. Ability to meet critical deadlines, working both independently and in a team environment.
8. Meticulous attention to detail in all work assignments.
9. Familiarity with basic marketing and communication concepts.
10. Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
11. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to create collaborative working relationships with others.
1. Prior experience in a marketing or public relations department for a college, university or school institution.
2. Experience creating animation and graphics for digital ads, video and web.
3. Experience in maintaining brand standard guidelines, graphics, templates and other brand assets.
4. Experience with photography, managing resource libraries, and conducting photo shoots.
5. Experience using project management software.
