MULTIMEDIA SERVICES MANAGER manages a staff of technical production specialists that contribute to and produce multi-platform communications including broadcast, web, social media, and print. Oversees and coordinates graphic design, copywriting, production, and printing processes. Being a MULTIMEDIA SERVICES MANAGER implements policies, procedures, and guidelines for producing media content. Familiar with software tools including the Adobe Creative Suite - Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Additionally, MULTIMEDIA SERVICES MANAGER requires a bachelor's degree.     Description

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Provide programmatic and/or clinical supervision to Clinicians and clinical interns
    • Represents the agency at external meetings; develops and promotes contacts, working relationships, and cooperative programs between Larkin Street’s Wellness services and other agencies and organizations involved in behavioral health services.
    • Provide clinical consultation and professional development to staff on a range of behavioral health issues and best practices for Transitional Age Youth (TAY) population.
    • Promote collaboration, cross training and dual programming among program teams within the division and throughout the agency.
    • Support youth and staff with linkage to community resources, as needed.
    • Serve on the On-Call Clinical Consultation rotation. 
    • Support in the facilitation of Mental Health First Aid training
    • Assists with special projects and other assignments as requested by the Leadership team, Director of Wellness and Client Practice, Division Director of Wellness Services and Youth Leadership, and the Chief of Programs.
    • Ability to travel independently throughout the community to Larkin Street’s various program and partner agency sites.
    • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Psychology, or closely related field.
    • Preferred Current California license in good standing, LCSW, LMFT, or Ph.D.
    • Experience utilizing harm reduction strategies and motivational interviewing required.
    • Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation preferred.

     

    BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE:

    • Experience working with transitional age youth, homeless and/or marginally housed individuals, people with active mental illness/co-occurring behavioral health and/or substance abuse disorders.
    • Experience providing individual and group therapy, and psychoeducational groups.
    • Experience utilizing harm reduction strategies and motivational interviewing.
    • Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation.
    • Experience working collaboratively with other providers.
    • Experience providing staff consultation.
    • Management and supervisory experience preferred.

     

    OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Ability to work with a diverse staff and excel in a multi-cultural environment.
    • Must demonstrate an acceptable level of maturity, good judgment, and emotional stability.

    PHYSICAL & LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

    • Ability to speak and write in English with excellent written and verbal skills, including public speaking.
    • Must be able to communicate effectively with staff, clients, and other providers both orally and in writing.
