We are a small non-profit in need of an energetic and organized person to perform all our museum’s marketing, fundraising events, member and donor programs, grant writing, office and building management, and run the museum gift shop. Administrator will also assist museum visitors during the open season.
Ideal candidate should have the following skills: organization, attention to details, above average writing skills, and advanced computer skills.
We are willing to train the right candidate in all these duties.
Year round, part-time position. However, during the open season from May 15-October 31 administrator should work an average of 32-40 hours per week at the museum. Employee would need to attend all museum events, as they would be organizing these events.
Employee must be willing to live in Johnson County, Wyoming.
Pay and benefits depends upon proven ability, not experience. A museum degree is not required.
The job has a great deal of variety, interaction with the public (customer service is important) and potential flexibility in the off season.
Historical knowledge is not required, but an interest in history is helpful.
