Responsibilities:
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for children
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide care and supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of all children
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and educational activities
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
- Manage classroom behavior and implement behavior management strategies when necessary
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the classroom and daycare facility
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in nannying, babysitting, or childcare is preferred
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom of students
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
