     Works closely with the lead, and other Team Members in order to achieve defined departmental goals of productivity, efficiency, quality, delivery, 6s, and safety.  Team members in this position will be expected to develop and display knowledge, skills, and willingness to learn and perform variety of manufacturing tasks, flex to work needs, produce sustained quality and timely results, maintain ongoing positive and collaborative behaviors, and reliably work all scheduled hours.  


    POSITION DETAILS

    • Shift Times: Mon-Fri; 7am-3:30pm
    • Pay Schedule: Weekly

    HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Demonstrates the Core Values of Comfort Research in daily actions, execution of tasks and interactions with others.
    •  Receives product from production. Accurately reads customer information, scans product to correct trailer in support of our On Time In Full metric.
    • Learns to perform variety of general tasks in production processes using common hand tools, ensuring quality product is produced. Learns to prepare and pack all types of Comfort Research product.
    • Assists with loading and unloading product from warehouse racks, per production/ distribution center requirements, to ensure meeting of production goals.
    • May learn to operate various machines (forklift), including loading and unloading of material, to maintain department and plant production requirements.
    • Moves and manipulates products/material weighing up to 50 pounds, involving frequent twisting, lifting, turning, and bending. Continuously pulls, pushes, and tugs materials.
    • Learns to perform proper quality checks essential to each work area. Shares information regarding non-conforming product for quality product to be shipped and proper processes to be followed.
    • Shares appropriate information with team leader, supervisor, and/or maintenance personnel of any mechanical problems and/or shortages that would interfere with production.
    • Meets daily production requirements.•Performs and cross trains on other job functions as directed; may rotate through various tasks in work area.
    • Assures and maintains safety and cleanliness of work area by performing housekeeping duties.
    • Develops skills to problem solve effectively with others.
    • May learn to assist with completion of appropriate paperwork.
