La Quinta by Wyndham Mercedes is looking for dependable and motivated individuals for full time and part time Maintenance Attendant positions. The Maintenance Attendant is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance department. This person will perform preventive and regular maintenance in guest rooms and repairs to all areas of the hotel. Maintenance is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and condition of the outside grounds, trash & debris removal and overall curb appeal of the property. Special renovation projects will be completed as needed at specific properties.

Applicants must be available to for shifts on the weekends and on holidays, and be willing to work with the rest of the maintenance team for scheduling requests for days off.

Skills needed: Basic carpentry, painting & plumbing skills needed. Must be able to lift, push & pull up to 50lbs, ability to learn new things, pool maintenance.

Individual must be friendly, detail oriented and productive working without direct supervision. Must be flexible, get along well with others and have the ability to offer quality service
