The Museum Clerk is often the first person encountered by a visitor to the Liberty Aviation Museum or Tin Goose Diner. The clerk must be friendly, knowledgeable, and exercise good judgement in assisting visitors while keeping in mind the goals and policies of the museum and diner. Key areas of responsibility include:
· Greeting visitors and providing information
· Museum admission sales using the POS system
· Monitoring the gift shop and ringing sales using the POS system
· Assisting the Director of Marketing with stocking and maintaining the gift shop
· Answering telephones, answering caller questions and forwarding calls as appropriate
· Opening and closing museum displays and galleries, and ensuring stanchions and barriers are in their established locations
· Monitoring museum security camera and reporting inappropriate activities to management
· Other activities as directed by Museum Management
