The National Accounts Manager typically work with national accounts and other strategically important clients.     Job Summary:

    The Sales Manager is a new position responsible for leading, developing and managing the sales efforts on a national scale within MODSTREET, particularly in municipal, transit, and hospitality verticals. This is a full-cycle role that requires someone who can plan and execute sales strategies, drive revenue growth across multiple regions and products, collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, and provide excellent customer relationship management. This role will also be responsible for net new and expansion revenue and ensure our current customers are maximizing their opportunities with MODSTREET.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven track record of closing sales in a startup environment.
    • Strong understanding of the municipal, hospitality, and/or transit, including market dynamics and customer needs.
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
    • Motivated by hitting and exceeding sales targets and key performance indicators.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
    • Ability to travel.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales leadership roles.
    • Experience with government contracting, selling into the municipality, hospitality, and transit agency verticals, and owning the submission process for RFPs, is desired.
    • Experience in economic development, city planning, and government is a plus.

    COMPENSATION:

    • Base Salary: $80,000-$100,000 per annum
    • Variable Compensation: 2.5% on existing leads closed in 2024, 5% commission on net new revenue thereafter, paid upon final invoice, uncapped
    • Goal: $1m net new revenue Y1 = $50,000
    • Total Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000 per year
    • Salary and commission renegotiable each year
