The National Accounts Manager typically work with national accounts and other strategically important clients. Develops relationships with the largest and most complex clients in order to increase revenue.     JOB SUMMARY:   The Manager of National Accounts will play a pivotal role in managing and growing key client relationships at the national level. We are seeking a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cross functional among different divisions of the company, along with our national account to drive growth.

    Strategy

    • Develop and implement strategic plans for national account growth, aligning with Excell Marketing's overall objectives.
    • Meet and exceed revenue targets through effective management of national account portfolios.
    • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to maximize account value.
    • Conduct in-depth analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
    • Monitor daily sales and inventory.

    Customer Relations

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
    • Coordinate the selection, item setup, and distribution of products to Excell’s customer base.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with Excell’s customers.
    • Develop new sales opportunities through promotional opportunities.
    • Address and resolve issues between Excell and its customers in the areas of accounts receivable, distribution, inventory control, promotions, and sales forecasting.

    Management

    • Work closely with merchandising, distribution, shipping, inventory, and other operations teams at Excell Marketing to align strategies and deliver comprehensive solutions to national accounts.
    • Provide input on product/service enhancements based on client feedback and market demands.
    • Provide backup and support to other directors as needed.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within national accounts.

    Operations

    • Oversee operational aspects related to the delivery of products/services to national accounts.
    • Collaborate with the operations team at Excell Marketing to ensure seamless execution of national account initiatives.
    • Monitor and optimize operational processes, including maintaining item life cycle information, to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
    • Attend weekly meetings for production, shipping, and planograms.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • 2-3 Years of prior retail experience with merchandising, operations or management experience required.
    • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field desired.
    • Proficient / Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Word, Excell.

    • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills 
    • Ability to forecast problems and identify possible solutions
    • Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization and external customers and vendors.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines.

    ENVIRONMENTAL AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS:  The daily responsibilities of this position constantly require effective talking, hearing, sitting, walking and standing functions.  The position also requires frequent repetitive motion activities. Must be able to read print and computer-based materials and to do so with consistent accuracy.  Most of these functions require light physical exertion and are conducted in a temperature-controlled environment with occasional exposure to hot and cold temperatures. 

    INTELLECTUAL/EMOTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:   The occupant of this position must be able to perform the responsibilities of the position well under pressure.  The position requires adaptability to performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.  This position requires the ability to manage multiple projects at one time and may be interrupted frequently to meet the needs and requests of others. It also requires adaptability to fluctuate between priorities daily while being responsive to needs as they arise.  This position may require occasional travel and some overnight travel.
